About Mr. Young

Orum Young, Jr., Founder of E. Orum Young Law Offices, graduated from Northeast Louisiana University (NLU) in 1971. Thereafter he performed post-graduate work at Louisiana State University (LSU).

In 1979, Mr. Young received a Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University (BYU) School of Law . While attending BYU, he was a recognized as Editor of the Moot Court Program. Brigham Young University is consistently ranked in the Top 50 of law schools in the United States.

E Orum Young Jr is admitted to practice law in Louisiana. His career as an attorney began with him being commissioned by the Governor of Louisiana to be an Assistant District Attorney for the Fourth Judicial District Attorney in Ouachita Parish.
